The Green Market

Every Wednesday

Choose the food less traveled at The Green Market, Cashiers’ farm stand market for local growers. Dancing on the Green

Every Monday

Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy guided dance routines with renowned instructor Danie Beck. A family friendly event for all ages and levels of experience. Use your skills for Groovin’ on the Green! Proceeds help fund Cashiers School of the Arts, a local non-profit dedicated to making arts education and experiences affordable for everyone. Tickets $5/person or $10/couple. Cashiers Live—That 70’s Show by RCA

Come enjoy a night in celebration of the iconic music of the 70’s as RCA performs That 70’s Show. From Linda Ronstadt to Jackson Browne, Fleetwood Mac to CCR and more, this diverse rock show is a love letter to the music of the 1970’s and the stories behind some of the era’s most iconic songs. VIP passes available. Passes include VIP parking, pre-concert Beer and Wine Cocktail Hour at Lewis Hall, open beer and wine bar during concert and premiere seating for the entire season. 17th Annual Nashville Songwriter’s Round

August 19

Headed by Songwriter Hall of Famer Rivers Rutherford. Come enjoy your favorite songs and the stories behind them with Rivers and his fellow songwriters. All proceeds go to Blue Ridge School and Blue Ridge Early College. Seating sold in tables of ten. Tickets will first be offered to last year’s attendees. Any unsold tables will be offered to the public. Cashiers Designer Showhouse

The 26th Annual Cashiers Designer Showhouse is right around the corner. You will not want to miss this treasured event of the season. Discover how exceptionally talented designers from across the southeast transform each room of this year’s Chimney Top home. In addition to the home itself, take advantage of the many special events, including designer panels, a meal with television host P. Allen Smith, a landscape seminar with legendary landscape architect Mary Palmer Dargan, High Tea at High Hampton and more. All proceeds benefit The Cashiers Historical Society. Mountaintop Art & Craft Show

Presented by the Highlands Mountaintop Rotary, this art and craft show is sure to delight. Come enjoy the works of regional artists, some of whom will host live demonstrations. Village Nature Series—last Tuesday of the month, through September

Village Nature Series is an annual educational lecture series co-hosted by The Village Green and the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust. These programs are free and family friendly. 8/29-Secret Life of Snakes; 9/26-Composting 101: Saving the Planet one Orange Peel at a Time. Held at The Village Green, 160 Frank Allen Road, Cashiers. The Hit Men

Highlands Porchfest

Porchfest returns for its 3rd year, and you will not want to miss out. Festivalgoers can expect top-notch local and regional performers from all genres. Among many other great talents, come enjoy Soul and Funk (Lamont Landers), R&B powerhouse Jerius Duncan, Zorki, New Orleans Jazz pianist Jack Adams, Lindsay McCarger and many more! Artrageous

Artists, using hands, brushes and other objects, create visual art pieces making lines and shapes on giant canvases while the audience tries to guess what each painting will become. Lines and brush strokes become portraits of famous icons in a matter of moments. All the while, live musicians perform popular musical styles from pop to country to Artrageous originals with powerful vocalists creating smooth harmonies. Rock of Ages at the Highlands PAC

This Tony Award-nominated Broadway Musical tells the story of a small-town girl, a city boy and a rock ‘n’ roll romance on the Sunset Strip.
